Joe is the Executive Producer of 5 Investigates. He joined KSTP 5 Eyewitness News in July 2014 as a general assignment reporter. Since joining the investigative team in 2017, Joe has helped expose failures and wrongdoing at the highest levels of government. Prior to moving to the Twin Cities, he worked as a general assignment reporter at WOI-TV in Des Moines, IA. He also worked at KRGV in the Rio Grande Valley where he spent three years covering the immigration crisis, human smuggling and public corruption.

Education

Joe graduated from the University of Iowa in 2009 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He attended high school at Mary D. Bradford in Kenosha, Wis.

Personal Interests

Joe is a passionate fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs and basketball in general. He and his wife run a sophisticated zone defense against their three small children (including boy and girl twins).
