Opening Day
There will be discounted admission prices at the entrance gates:
- $15 for adults (13-64)
- $12 for seniors (65+)
- $12 for kids (5-12)
There will also be deals on merchandise and food for all visitors. All-day specials will be offered on Mighty Midway and Kidway rides and games.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Day at Dan Patch Park
SciMathMN brings together kids of all ages to celebrate and explore the wonders of STEM through hands-on learning, interactive STEM experiences, and connections to nonprofit STEM education providers, student groups and local businesses.

Day Two

Governor’s Fire Prevention Day at Dan Patch Park
Opportunities for families include learning about fire-safe behavior, fire prevention, safe escape from a fire, proper use of a fire extinguisher, how to prepare for an emergency, as well as technological improvements in burn treatment and firefighting equipment. Activities take place at Dan Patch Park, the North End and DNR Park and are presented by the Governor’s Council on Fire Prevention and Control.

Day Three
Hubbard Broadcasting Day at Dan Patch Park
Hubbard Broadcasting Day features the radio and television stations locally owned and operated by Hubbard Broadcasting Inc. – 5 Eyewitness News, 45TV, myTalk 107.1, SKOR North and KS95.

4-H Day at the Fair
Visit the barns and animals competition areas to celebrate 4-H. See displays and performances in the 4-H Building.

Day Four

Indigenous Food Lab at Dan Patch Park
North American Traditional Food System's Indigenous Food Lab will feature guest chefs to present cooking demonstrations and discuss the foundations of Indigenous food systems. Indigenous music and learning activities for children and adults will take place throughout the day, including a presentation by Chef Sean Sherman, founder of The Sioux Chef and co-founder of the James Beard Award-winning restaurant Owamni.

MONDAY, AUG. 29
Day Five

Seniors Day
There will be discounted admission prices for seniors at the entrance gates:

Meanwhile, there will be deals on merchandise and food for all fair visitors plus "early bird" specials offered on Mighty Midway and Kidway rides and games until 1 p.m.
Mental Health Awareness at Dan Patch Park
Fair visitors will be able to participate in interactive and educational activities to explore mental health resources and information. More than 50 organizations from throughout Minnesota will present on mental health and mental wellness. There will be a full lineup of stage performances, including children's programming, cultural performances, youth performances, musicians, therapy animals, and more. There will also be a collaborative art project fairgoers can help with as they walk through the event.
Events are presented by NAMI Minnesota, Minnesota State Advisory Council on Mental Health, and Subcommittee on Children's Mental Health.
Minnesota State Patrol Day at the North End
Troopers will be at North Underwood Street throughout the day to answer questions from fairgoers. Squads—new and vintage—will be on display, and troopers from various specialty assignments will highlight some of the services offered by the Minnesota State Patrol.

TUESDAY, AUG. 30
Day Six

Military Appreciation Day at Dan Patch Park
There will be discounted admission prices—with valid documentation of service—for active military, their spouses and kids; retired military and their spouses; and military veterans and their spouses at the entrance gates:
- $12 for adults (13-64)
- $12 for seniors (65+)
- $12 for kids (5-12)
Fairgoers can stop by educational booths that support the military, as part of Military Appreciation Day. Additional programs will be held throughout the fairgrounds, including at the Veterans Garden and the Leinie Lodge Bandshell. A flyover takes place in the morning.

MELSA public libraries will offer a day of fun, games, crafts and stage lineup at Dan Patch Park. This program is funded by Minnesota's Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.

Visitors can also participate in a UCare – Senior Stretch & Stroll Day at Dan Patch Park at which they can enjoy live music and dance performances on the outdoor stage throughout the day, plus a variety of fitness, health and wellness programming.

Day Nine

FFA Day
FFA is celebrating 75 years of the FFA Show at the fair, and several FFA livestock judging events will take place throughout the day. There will also be special programs to commemorative the fair's partnership with FFA.
AARP Day at Dan Patch Park
Visitors can learn about what AARP has to offer and can stop by the AARP booth to win a free prize and register for Summer Sweeps. Visitors can also cast a vote for their favorite band.

Hmong Minnesota Day at Dan Patch Park
Now in its seventh year, Hmong Minnesota Day is described as being a day of "hope, healing and a celebration of life."
Stage activities will feature a collaboration of Hmong artists and organizations from throughout Minnesota, including singers, dancers, martial artists, and community leaders among others.

Disney Princess - The Concert has been canceled due to scheduling conflicts and refunds will be automatically issued.

The food and drinks were so good 🤤, but 2 did disappointment, the gator shack didn’t have its normal gator bites 😞, and at one of the bars a chocolate chip cookie beer was offered, it was literally just a normal beer with chocolate chips on the rim of the cup 😳, but other than that, everything was heckin amazing 🤩

NY style Pickle pizza… and yes you read that correctly. I have been swamped the last few weeks and haven’t been able to post much. So for my first post in weeks, why not jump back into the deep end with something a little less ordinary. The pickle pie is a pizza that seems to be raising in popularity in MN. youngjoni_mn makes a perfect pickle pie that I still need to try. We also have a popular pickle pizza at the fair grounds that I have been seeing tons of pictures of lately over the memorial day weekend. So I used these pizzas as inspiration to try and create one at home for the family. It definitely didn’t disappoint. I used a garlic white sauce as a base, topped it with whole milk mozzarella and sliced gedneyfoods dill pickles prior to cooking. Then finished it off with a ranch dill sauce, crushed kettle chips and some fresh dill. I may make some adjustments when I make it again. But this was so good there definitely will be more of them made. Give it a try.
