Breastfeeding Awareness Month

What should you eat if you're breastfeeding?
  • You need about 500 calories more than your prepregnancy intake if you breastfeed your baby.
  • Drink lots of water and eat plenty of protein each meal.
  • Continue to take your prenatal vitamins (unless your doctor tells you otherwise).
  • Avoid junk foods and empty calories.

If you have other questions about your health, make sure to talk with your doctor. For more information about Entira Family Clinics, including hours and locations, click here.
