Bigger and Better Twin Cities Shops

Keeping a small business going isn’t easy but today, Elizabeth visits three Twin Cities boutiques that are not only keeping the doors open, they’re expanding into bigger and better locations.

Elizabeth meets up with Laurie Crowell, owner of Golden Fig Fine Foods in St. Paul which recently moved right next door into a space that’s almost double the size of the original location making room for more artisan and American made foods.

Then she stops at Stephanie’s in St. Paul where owner Stephanie Morrissey moved into a brand new building across the street from her former Highland Park location. Elizabeth loves the shop’s evolving focus on pulled together casual wear.

And finally, she takes us to Minneapolis to The Foundry Home Goods. Owner Anna Hillegass was previously located in the North Loop and now moved to a bright, sunny space in South Minneapolis where she has even more space for display her stunning collection of home goods along with adding furniture pieces and flower bouquets.
