Smelly Gas
 
To fart is human. People break wind an average of 14 times a day, But sometimes your farts smell TOXIC! 99% of gas is odorless...but when it isn't...
 
Most common culprits:
  • High fiber foods: cabbage, broccoli, asparagus
  • Sulfur containing foods: GARLIC, meat, fish, eggs
  • Food intolerance: lactose, gluten
What might help:
  • Probiotic foods
  • Avoid carbonated drinks
  • Limit gas-producing foods
Sweaty Underarms
 
3-5% of people sweat an abnormal amount. And a lot more people THINK they sweat too much. But why? It's very common and not a sign of something abnormal. But can cause some serious embarrassment. Normal sweat glands but could be hyperactive response to any level of stress.
 
How to deal with it: 
 
  • Antiperspirants
  • Aluminum-based; they form a plug 
  • Higher concentration of aluminum...more effective.
  • Pick "CLINICAL STRENGTH"
  • Prescription antiperspirants
  • Botox Injections--for severe/bothersome sweating
Hair Thinning
 
40% of women begin to notice hair loss by age 40 and 40% of men begin to have visible hair loss by age 35. Can be a sign of medical condition (lupus, anemia, thyroid disorder) More often its "normal" -- genetic; due to hormonal shifts that occur with age. 
 
What you can do: 
  • Decrease/limit amount of heat styling
  • Use Minoxidil (Rogaine) or Toppik Hair Fibers
