Fall Drinks by Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery

The Wine Maker at Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery, Mike Drash left winemaking country in Napa to move to Minnesota and make wine at Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery instead.  Mike brought his knowledge to the winery where they have created exciting and world-class wines. Hot White Pumpkin Russia

Ingredients:

10 ounces hot coffee
3 ounces North Forest Kreme Pumpkin Liqueur
1 1/2 ounces Unaged Apple Brandy
3 ounces warm cream

Directions:

1. Pour 5 ounces of hot coffee into two glasses

2. In each glass add 1 1/2 ounces of North Forest Kreme Pumpkin and 3/4 an ounce of Unaged Apple Brandy

3. Warm 2 ounces of cream over low heat for a couple minutes (be very careful because it can burn)

4. As soon as the cream is warm, add 1 1/2 ounces to each cup of coffee mixture

5. Stir and enjoy!

 

Caramel Apple Mimosas

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons caramel
2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
1 cup apple cider
8 ounces caramel vodka
1 bottle Equinoce Reserve Brut
Apple slices, for garnish

Directions:

1. In a small dish, pour caramel. In another small dish, pour cinnamon sugar

2. Dip champagne flutes into caramel to rim glass, then dip in cinnamon sugar

3. Pour 1/4 cup apple cider and 2 ounces caramel vodka into each flute and top with Equinoce Reserve Brut

4. Garnish with an apple slice and serve

 

Hot Toddy

Ingredients:

1 ounce Chankaska Spirits Apple Brandy
1/2 ounce Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/3 ounce Honey
3 ounce Hot Water
Add a lemon wedge with 6-8 cloves stuck in the lemon wedge

Directions:

  1. Strain the seeds out of the lemon juice
  2. Add all ingredients together
  3. Add lemon wedge and cloves to top off
