9/27 Super Saver

A few weeks ago Apple announced the release of the new iPhone 8 and they surprised everyone by unveiling the iPhone 10, due for release in November. If you're in the market for a new phone, whichever one you buy, expect to shell out hundreds and hundreds of dollars.  Or you could just trade in and trade up. Our Super Saver, Twin Cities Live reporter Kelli Hanson stop by to help us get the most money for our phone.

  1. TRADE INTO YOUR PHONE CARRIER
This is the easiest option of all. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint & T-Mobile all have iPhone Trade-In programs.
  1. Amazon Trade-In Program
Head to their website to submit information about your phone. If you like the price offered, you can accept the price and it will ship for free.  Amazon does not pay cash for trade-ins; the payout comes in the form of an Amazon.com gift card.
  1. TARGET TRADE-IN PROGRAM
Head to their website to find out what your phone is worth immediately. The payout is in the form of a Target Gift Card
  1. APPLE'S "TRADE UP" PROGRAM
Apple does give you the option of bringing old devices into physical stores to swap, or mailing them in (with free shipping). They do not pay out cash, but gives store credit for old iPhones.
  1. Gazelle.com
Gazalle is great if you have old phones to sell. You can see what they’d payout immediately on their website. If your phone is worth more than $1, it will ship for free. The payout is in an Amazon Gift Card, Paypal or a check.
