Insect Shield Your Clothes

The lovely mosquito has been called the unofficial state bird of Minnesota. We’re right in the thick of mosquito season -- once only 74 days long and now they stick around for 108 days each summer.  We know we can always turn to bug spray, but what if we didn't have to? Insect Shield technology takes permethrin, a bug repellent, and puts it right into clothing. The odorless protection lasts up to 70 washes and can be worn by anyone, even kids and pregnant women.

Lou Manfredini, the host of HouseSmarts TV on 45TV stopped by to show us how the technology works and other ways to get rid of pesky mosquitos in your yard.
