“A Year With Frog and Toad”

“A Year With Frog and Toad” is back on stage where it all began, at Children’s Theater Company in Minneapolis. The show is based on the 1970’s book series written by Arnold Lobel and brings to life the tales of a pair of amphibian best friends through the seasons. It debuted in Minneapolis in 2002, went on to Broadway where it was nominated for several Tony Awards and then made its way onto stages across the country. Elizabeth visits the set to get a behind the scenes tour and brings the biggest Frog and Toad fan she knows: her 2 year old daughter Bernadette. And in honor of the show’s special return to Minneapolis, the author’s daughter, Adrianne Lobel sits down with Elizabeth to share how a moment in her childhood inspired the beloved book series and why the stories are timeless.

“A Year With Frog and Toad” is on stage at Children’s Theater Company through June 18th. For a link to ticket information and show times, click here.
