Uptown Woodworks

What started as a fun, creative outlet has now turned into a business for two young entrepreneurs. Garret Faust and Harrison Blankenship met through a mutual friend. They hit it off and realized they could create unique wood pieces for art in just about any setting and that’s when Uptown Woodworks was born.

They started showcasing their work in a hockey tournament. They made art pieces for players to commemorate their tourney play. They sold every piece they brought along. They have been in business since March and orders keep growing.

Uptown Woodworks has city skylines, Lake Minnetonka outlines, and just about anything else you can think of. The guys love doing custom work. They have made signs, coasters for personal bars and even party favors.

For more information check them out on Facebook. You can also see them Sunday, December 4th at the TCL Holiday Pop Up Shop.
