Thanksgiving Wine Pairings

Don’t let the thousands of options at the liquor store overwhelm you when it comes to picking up wine for Thanksgiving Day. Haskell’s Ted Farrell shares his pairing picks along with a couple appetizer ideas.
Ted’s pick for a wine to go with turkey: Vouvray les Lys
Ted’s pick for a dessert wine: Schloss Nicholas
Wine paired with skewers: Nouveau Beaujolais
Baked Brie with Kahlua
1 Wheel Brie
1 Cup Kahlua
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Cups Pecans 
Sliced bread or crackers
Preheat oven to 350'.  Unwrap and place Brie in an oven safe serving dish.  Mix Kahlua and brown sugar until sugar dissolves and pour over the cheese.  Scatter pecans on top of the of the Kahlua covered Brie.  Cook in oven about 15 mins or until cheese is soft and bubbling.  Serve immediately with bread or crackers.
