Good Company: Vertical Endeavors
For nearly 25 years, Vertical Endeavors has been helping kids and adults climb to new heights. It was in 1992, when Nate and Pam Postma decided they needed an indoor rock climbing facility to train for competitions. There was nothing like it here. So, Nate started doing a ton of research. He traveled all over the country looking at similar facilities and asking the owners just about every question he could think of.
Climbing is a good work out physically and mentally. People from all over are trying it thanks to the hand full of locations. There are five locations. They are in Saint Paul, Minneapolis, Duluth, Glendale Heights, Illinois and the newest location just opened in Bloomington.
Nate says that this is much more than just a business now. He says the biggest reward is watching people who have physical challenges reach their goals while climbing. This is where kids can feel like other kids. It’s also where adults realize they can accomplish so much more than they expected.
There’s a special deal going on for the month of October. For the entire month of October our 10-visit punch cards are on sale for 20% off. Purchasing the punch cards on sale is a great opportunity for folks to climb at nearly half the price of our normal day pass rate. The punch cards can be shared between climbers or used individually, they can be used at any of our facilities and they do not expire.
