9/23 Rockstar Row: Jacob Wetterling Resource Center

Jacob Wetterling Resource Center works to end all forms of child maltreatment through education, training and prevention while advocating for and serving children, adult survivors and communities.

On Oct. 22, 1989, 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling was abducted. In 1990, Jerry and Patty Wetterling along with many committed members in the community decided to form Jacob Wetterling Foundation, known today as Jacob Wetterling Resource Center. Their mission remains the same today: to end all forms of child maltreatment through education, training and prevention while advocating for and serving children, adult survivors and communities.
