Kid Connection: Jasper
Thursdays on Twin Cities Live we introduce you to kids living in Minnesota that don't have a real place to call home. A home that they feel is permanent. That's because there are hundreds of school-aged kids living in foster or group homes.
In our Kid Connection series, we hope to lower that number significantly. And we’re hopeful these kids find families they’ve always wanted. This week’s child is Jasper, a 16-year-old girl that we heard loved to skateboard. TCL Reporter Kelli Hanson took her to 3rd Lair Skatepark in Golden Valley where Jasper learned to fly.
3rd Lair Skatepark and Skateshop offers several summer camps – BMX, Scooter and Skate. Find more information on that here.
