Em’s Adventures: Rince na Chroi Irish Dancers
Rince na Chroi is Gaelic for “dance of the heart”. The dance group was founded in 2003. It started small, but today has over 150 dancers. They are based in Saint Paul, but they perform all over the Twin Cities and across the Midwest. They perform on average 100 times a year. Some of the dancers start as young as three years old. There are also adults who dance with the group.
They work hard and they have a lot of fun. Many of the girls say their group becomes family. So, how tough is it to be an Irish Dancer? Emily finds out in this week’s Em’s Adventure.
