Home and Garden Show Preview

The Minneapolis Home and Garden Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center is back with all sorts of ideas for your own home. Twin Cities Live will be there live on Friday, February 25th. This year, the Lifestyle and Kitchen Stages have combined into one Main Stage. Jaque Bethke of PURE Design Environments was in charge of planning the design for the Main Stage. It’s twice as big as last year, it’s more colorful and it has a huge kitchen. The kitchen has working appliances, running water and an island that is big and spacious. Jaque says she’s known for her bold ideas and this year’s inspiration was the flamingo. The idea is to have color and an organic feel to the environment.

In addition to the visually appealing stage, there’s also an area that includes a photo booth this year. The booth gives show goers a chance to meet their favorite speakers and celebrities. The pictures can be uploaded and posted on social media.

Emily shows us around the unique space before it is open to the public.

The Minneapolis Home and Garden Show runs February 26 -28 and March 4 -6.

This year, the show is over two weekends. For a list of what you’ll see and for ticket information, click here.
