Inside General Mills

General Mills is celebrating 150 years. Most of us know at least some of the company’s products, but you may be surprised to see what happens inside its headquarters in Golden Valley. There are more than 3,000 employees at General Mills, but several thousand visitors also come through the company. So, to make it convenient for employees and guests, the company has added all sorts of amenities. The corporate campus is truly like a city within a city. There’s a daycare center to help with new parents transitioning back into work. There’s a fitness center.  The wellness center takes care of your needs for medical, dental and eye care. There’s even a credit union, grocery store, salon and gas station on site. Emily takes us inside to get a unique look at General Mills, including a walk through an impressive test kitchen.
