Em’s Adventures: Subway Bedrace for Bridging

Buck Hill is known for its skiing, snowboarding and tubing, but there’s another event that caught Emily’s attention. It’s called the Subway Bedrace for Bridging. Participants race each other down the snow hill while riding on a mattress. The mattresses are covered and provided on race day. There’s a contest for best costumes and later that night there’s a concert. The event races money and attention for Bridging, a non-profit organization that provides furniture and other household goods for people in need during transition. So, how does it work and why is it worth a try? We send Emily to find out in her latest Em’s Adventure.

The event is March 5th at Buck Hill. One hundred percent of registration fees and donations benefit Bridging.
