12 Days of Cookies: Molasses Cookies
Alicia Hinze, co-owner of Buttered Tin shows Elizabeth how to make a molasses cookie. It’s a recipe that Elizabeth claims is her favorite molasses cookie recipe EVER!
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
¾ cup LAND O LAKES® Butter
¼ cup molasses
1 LAND O LAKES® All-Natural Egg
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon salt
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine brown sugar, butter and molasses in bowl; beat until fluffy. Add egg; mix well. Add all remaining ingredients except sugar; mix well.
Scoop cookies using medium-sized ice cream scoop; roll in sugar. Bake 10-11 minutes or until set.
