Skin Care & Olive Oil

Most people know that olive oil has culinary uses, it also has been widely used throughout the ages as a beauty product.  Terri Chaffer, owner of The Oilerie in Maple Grove shows us some of their skincare line. 

Shampoo $9.99: Our shampoo leaves the hair shiny, restored and soft. It gently cleanses the hair while adding the benefits of antioxidants. The soothing action of olive oil and the protective effect of wheat protein leave the hair soft and light. Expect little foaming action from this rich shampoo. Shower Gel $8.99: Luxurious wash for the whole body. Cleans and tones the skin with Extra Virgin Olive oil and a natural vitamin complex. It can be used in the shower or bath.

Cleansing Milk $14.99: You’ll love the softness of your skin after cleansing with Oilerie Cleansing Milk. Made with Distilled Chamomile, Olive Leaf Extract and Extra Virgin Olive Oil it washes away impurities and leaves the skin softened and clean. Follow with Oilerie Face Tonic.

Face Tonic $14.99: Made with Grape Leaf Extract, Distilled Witch Hazel and Extra Virgin Olive Oil and contains no alcohol. This revitalizing lotion tones and strengthens the skin of the face. Great if used after washing your face with our Cleansing Milk for a complete cleanse. Follow with any Oilerie moisturizer before make-up.

Moisturizing Face Cream $14.50: Made to be used daily for moisturizing and under make-up, this complex made with olive leaf extract, a skin moisturizing factor (N.M.F.) and Extra Virgin Olive oil is helpful in leaving the skin elastic and velvety.

Anti- Wrinkle Face Cream $19.99: The combination of Extra Virgin Olive oil, ginseng, multi-vitamins A and E and Shea butter help prevent the appearance of wrinkles and strengthens the relaxation of the skin. Olive oil has been known to help tighten and heal skin.

Nourishing Face Cream $15.00:  A blend of ingredients to nourish the skin with regular use. Extra Virgin Olive oil and Avocado oil are known for their moisturizing properties. These, along with vitamins and Shea butter, combine to moisturize and soften the skin. Use at night or every day under make-up.

Exfoliation Face Scrub $21.00: A natural scrubbing gel that unites emollients with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and crushed olive seed to exfoliate and cleanse the skin. Helps to remove dead skin cells and leaves the skin clean and soft.

Contour Eye Treatment $21.99: A treatment for the face that contains Extra Virgin Olive oil and Kigelia Africana (aka sausage tree) which is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Extra Virgin Olive oil helps to sooth, soften and protect the skin.

Body Lotion $15.99: Used to smooth and soften your whole body without greasiness, yet very rich moisturizing. It contains Extra Virgin Olive oil, sweet almond oil, Natural Moisturizing Factor (N.M.F.) a natural way to help hydrate skin to allow moisture to be absorbed and olive leaf extract. It is exceptionally good after a bath before bedtime.

Hand Cream $8.99: Made specifically with olive oil and contains Allantoin, a healing agent, to rehydrate dry hands and keep them smooth without a greasy residue left behind. You will feel the softening, even after washing your hands this fluid hand cream will continue soothing.

Massage Oil $19.99: A wonderful massage tool that has emollient protection from adverse environmental factors. Our product is olive oil based and contains grape seed oil, almond oil and wheat germ oil for added slip and smoothing. This oil helps to tighten and tone the skin and leaves it soft and supple.

Olivella^® Liquid Soap $9.99 or $6.99: Great to have at the sink. Gently cleans hands and face and is made from virgin olive oil, rinsing clean. Can also be used in the shower for full body cleansing.

Bar Soap $6.99: Our “men’s” favorite. Our Olive oil based gentle cleanser in a bar that leaves the skin clean and softened. Men have commented that their skin doesn’t feel dry after they shower with the Oilerie bar.

After Shave $16.50: A soothing emulsion containing Extra Olive oil and Cephaline that helps to soften skin after shaving. The lipids contained in Cephaline help to regenerate lipid layers and soften skin.

Lip Balm $2.50: This handy purse size tube is terrific for softening lips. It contains Extra Virgin Olive oil and Shea Butter which really is “balm” for your lips. Good for all and has a delicate Mango flavor.
