Inside Out Chocolate Covered Strawberries
It’s not what’s on the outside that matters – it’s what’s on the inside, right? That’s especially true when the inside is so sweet! Owner of Golden Fig, Laurie Crowell, shows us some easy inside out recipes for Valentines Day.
20-25 Large Strawberries
12 oz. Chocolate (use milk or dark, chips or chop it up yourself, whichever you prefer)
Cut stems off your berries and carefully scoop out some of the inside
Cut a little bit off the bottom of the berry as well so it stands uprightIn a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate over a bain marie (boiling water) or you can microwave in 25 second intervals...stopping to stir every 25 seconds.
When chips are melted either spoon into strawberries or place into a pastry bag and pipe in.
Let set up for about 10-15 minutes before eating.
