Saving on Keurig K-Cups

The Keurig Coffee Machines hit the market in the late 90’s and are still going strong.  As many as 2.5 million cups are brewed per day.  Super Saver Carrie Rocha has ways that you can save on those single serving K-Cups.

Know your target price.  Between sales and coupons aim to pay no more than $0.50/cup when you buy a box of K-Cups.

Consider non-grocery retailers. Stores like Kohls, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Staples and others often have coupons in the Sunday paper or they come via email. Combine those with their everyday prices on K-Cups and you’ll easily hit that target price.

Here’s a deal happening right now:

Sign up for Bed, Bath & Beyonds email list.
You'll be emailed a coupon for 20% off within a few minutes.
They have a variety of 18-packs that sell for $9.99. It'd be $7.99 after your 20% off coupon or $0.44/cup.

Resuse a single cup. Brew your coffee, then remove and shake the K-Cups to loosen the grounds. You’ll be able to get a second cup out of it.

Make your own K-Cups. Two ways to do this:
Use a refillable k-cup. Use your own grounds and reuse the filter.
Use a cap for k-cups. This also lets you reuse the cup part of the disposable cups you’ll buy.
