Be Well with TCL: SI Joint Pain

Doctors say 20-25% of people who have low back pain is actually caused by a joint.  And it’s one that can cause some serious pain.

The sacroiliac joint is located where the spine and the pelvis meet and it only has about two to three degrees of motion.  If the ligaments become lax, then it can slip out of place and the pain is excrutiating.  Dr. David Polly, the Chief of Spine Service at the University of Minnesota, explains how an SI Joint Fusion can help.
