Gruyere Stuffed French Toast

Grand View Lodge is a favorite spot of Emily’s so she was pretty excited to hear about their Champagne Brunch that they offer.  Grand View’s Chef de Cuisine, Paul Fitzpatrick, prepares one of their feature dishes from their Champagne Brunch during their de’Vine Wine and Culinary Event.

Gruyere Stuffed French Toast

4 Slices Of good sourdough bread
8 Slices of bacon
1 C. Gruyere cheese

Custard

2 Eggs
½ c Half and half
1 tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla
