Basic Stir Fry Sauce
It’s time to get back on track and start eating healthy again. Kowalski’s Culinary Director, Rachel Perron, and the owner of Stone Fitness, Nancy Stoneberg, join us with some healthy and tasty dinner ideas.
½ cup water
3 tablespoons tamari
1 tbsp. seasoned rice vinegar
1 tbsp. grated, peeled fresh ginger
1 tbsp. superfine sugar
2 tsp. pressed fresh garlic (about 2 cloves, peeled and crushed with a garlic press)
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. Asian sesame oil
- Asian hot sauce (such as Siracha) or crushed red pepper flakes to taste, if desired
In a glass measuring cup, whisk together all ingredients. Add to a stir fry in last 2 min. of cooking.
Makes about ¾ cup.
