*Krumkake Bowl Recipe

1/2 C butter- softened
1/2 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 C flour
1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
6 TB water

Cream together butter and sugar. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla bean paste. Stir in flour. /mix well, add water in TB increments until batter is consistency of thick cream sauce.

Lightly spray both sides of the krumkake iron with cooking spray.

Heat iron over medium heat just until a drop of water sizzles on the surface.

Spoon a heaping tablespoon of batter into the center. Close iron, squeezing handles together to spread the batter.

Keep a damp towel nearby to wipe up any batter splashes as the butter content could cause some interesting flame action if left on the outside of the iron!

Bake for 30 seconds, flip iron and cook for 30 seconds longer. Flip back to initial position and carefully remove to muffin tin where you will gently press into muffin tin and let cool which will make the perfect dessert bowl.

Once bowls are cooked, place on serving plate, fill with 1 big delicious scoop of your favorite ice cream, top with salted caramel sauce and a little whipped cream.

A few red sprinkles would even be a very neutral way to cheer for BOTH teams at this years Rose Bowl game :)
