Garlic Pepper Jam Hot Wings

BT from Cities 97 certainly know his way around the kitchen.  His wife, LT, owns Elle-Tee & the Kitchen, creating products that you can find in local grocery stores.  BT creates some chicken wings to serve as your appetizer before the big Thanksgiving spread!

2 lbs. Chicken Wings, jointed
Salt and Pepper
1/2 jar Lucille's Kitchen Garden Pepper Jam
1-1/2 oz. (one shot glass) Whiskey or Water

Directions

Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease foil.

Preheat Oven to 350-degrees.

Lay wings out and spread evenly across sheet. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake for 1/2 hour.

Flip wings over and bake other side for 15 minutes.

While wings are baking, in a large bowl slowly add whiskey or water to Lucille's Kitchen Garden Pepper Jam until mixture is spreadable, but not too runny.

Remove wings from oven and allow to sit for a few minutes to cool and keep from splattering.

With kitchen tongs, drop a few wings at a time into Pepper Jam mixture and coat thoroughly.

Return coated wings to the pans, and bake an additional 15 minutes or until meat thermometer reads meat to be at least 160-degrees.

Allow to cool slightly and serve with Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce and fresh veggies, such as celery, carrots and cherry tomatoes.

For a sweeter version, substitute Lucille's Kitchen Raspberry Pepper Jam for the Garlic Pepper Jam. Or, make a batch of both!
