Pentatonix

Pentatonix put together a band and the very next day tried out for a national singing competition.  Their thrown together band ended up winning that competition.

Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, Avi Kaplan, and Kevin Olusola make up the group that ended up winning The Sing Off.  Now less than a year and a half later they have a best-selling album, a nationwide tour, and another album on the way.
