Chocolate Chocomint Chip Cookies
When you grab that frozen pizza out of your freezer, instead of just popping it into the oven, try jazzing it up a bit. Laurie Crowell from Golden Fig has some ideas to add flair to your pizzas and other frozen dinners and desserts.
1 package premade chocolate chip cookie dough (I really like Immaculate Baking Company)
3 TB good quality cocoa powder (I love the Askinosie Cocoa Powder but any will do)
2 TB Chocolate Mint Sugar (if you don't have it, regular sugar is just fine!)
A few drops of peppermint oil
Preheat oven to 350
Pour cocoa powder and sugar into small bowl. Tip in a few drops of peppermint oil. With a fork stir peppermint oil around so all the sugar and cocoa is flavored.
Roll cookie dough liberally in cocoa powder, place on parchment line baking sheet and bake for 10-14 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool slightly on rack before eating.
