Harvest Pork Chops with Apples
Terri Chaffer, owner of the Maple Grove Oilerie, prepares a dinner using oils and sauces from her store that will have you staying home for supper.
4-6 pork chops
3-4 apples peeled and thinly sliced (a variety of apples work well)
¼ C. Turbinado Sugar OR Maple Sugar (available at the Oilerie®)
½ tsp. Ground cinnamon
3 Tbsp. Oilerie® Cinnamon EVOO
1 Tbsp. Oilerie® Vanilla EVOO
2 Tbsp. Oilerie® Apple Balsamic vinegar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (or use a slow cooker.)
- In a baking dish, place sliced apples. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and drizzle with remaining cinnamon and vanilla EVOO. With a spoon, combine all ingredients.
- Place browned pork chops on top of apples and drizzle with the apple balsamic vinegar.
- Cover and bake 1 hour, 15 minutes. (If using a slow cooker, put on low for 6 hours.)
- Enjoy!
