American Swedish Institute
There is a brand new addition to the American Swedish Institute. Our own Emily Engberg has a lot of Swedish in her blood so she decided to go check it out.
Founded in 1929, the American Swedish Institute is located in one of the great landmark buildings in the Twin Cities, the Turnblad Mansion. Now, they have added a brand new 34,000 square foot Cultural Center to it. The new building is contemporary with little touches of detail that are interesting and unique. The new building compliments the old, historic mansion next door.
You can experience all that the institute has to offer of the Swedish culture right here in Minneapolis.
