On Saturday July 14, Sofitel Minneapolis, will transform into a grand French celebration with an evening full of entertainment, food, activities and crowning of the best baguette in the Twin Cities. Hotel Sofitel along with the Alliance Française de Minneapolis-Saint Paul will host a family-friendly Bastille Day Celebration from 4-10 p.m.

Sandwich Parisian

Ingredients
French baguette
Best quality Smoked ham
Brie cheese
Wild baby arugula
Local butter
Sliced Heirloom tomatoes
Drizzle of truffle oil if desired
Directions
- Cut bread in half lengthways
- Spread a thin layer of butter, add the sliced tomatoes.
- Dress the arugula on top and place the ham folded neatly and then the sliced brie cheese.
- Drizzle with truffle oil and close the sandwich
