Wabun Wading Pool is right on the Minneapolis St. Paul Border and overlooks the Mississippi. It’s a great way to cool down and is free for all ages.

Bunker Beach in Coon Rapids is the largest outdoor wave pool in the state. Plus it has several waterslides and a Lazy River. Admission for guests over 48” is $14 for the whole day! If you want to get out ON the lakes, check out Excel Boat Club in Excelsior. You can rent a boat anywhere from $275-$525 depending on the weekend, weekday, or how long you use the boat.

How about Steamboat Minnehaha? It’s docked at Bayview Event Center and it’s a great way to be on the lake. Cruises cost $5 - $15 and they cruise on the weekends and holidays.

But if enjoying the view is more your thing, check out Admiral D’s on White Bear Lake. It’s low key and laid back with an awesome view of the lake and all the activity taking place on it.
