You Can Adopt Mattie!

Every month, we bring you the story of a dog in our community who’s looking for a permanent home.  We’d like to introduce you to Matt (or Mattie as his foster mom calls him!)

Matt (Mattie), is a 3-year-old shih tzu from Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota. Look at him! If he doesn’t just steal your heart, we aren’t sure what will!  

It's becoming more and more common for bakeries and restaurants to make treats for dogs. Ali from Sidewalk Dog.com brought in some treats to show from each one of these:

• Lucia's Bakery - Uptown
• Great Harvest Bakery - various locations 
• Bread & Pickle - Lake Harriet  
• St. Agnes Baking Company. - St. Paul

There is a huge dog component to the Pride festival. Pet booth area, lots of adoptable dogs, doggie drag show, etc. Sidewalk Dog will be there with bells on promoting responsible pet ownership by selling Minneapolis pet licenses, providing a doggie hydration station giving away prizes just for stopping by.
