Guest co-host, Amy James and her good friend, Kafe 421’s Antigoni Sander, show off their signature drinks. The refreshing cocktails are perfect for enjoying them with good friends on your deck or patio.
Island Breeze
Makes 1 Cocktail
TOOLS
Cocktail Shaker
Ice Cubes
Martini Glass
Cocktail Strainer
INGREDIENTS
1 ½ oz. Vodka
2 ½ oz. Pineapple Juice
1 Lime Wedge (about ¼ of a small lime)
Ice
1 Can or Bottle of La Croix Coconut Sparkling Water
Lime Wheels or Pineapple Wedges for Garnish
DIRECTIONS
1. Fill cocktail shaker 2/3 of the way up with ice cubes
2. Pour measured out portions of Vodka and Pineapple Juice over the ice cubes. Squeeze the juice of the lime wedge over the juice and vodka and toss the squeezed lime into the shaker.
3. Place the cover on the shaker and shake the drink for about 20 – 30 seconds! The more the better!
4. Remove the lid from the shaker and replace with a cocktail strainer. Pour the liquid into your martini glass, filling the glass ¾ of the way. Fill the rest of the way with Coconut Sparkling Water. Finish with your lime wheel and drink!
You can very easily make a pitcher of this for a group of people so you don’t need to shake them individually!
You can also play with the levels of juice and vodka based upon your preferences!
