Gourmet Baby Burgers

Laurie Crowell from Golden Fig uses Thousand Hills Beef in her gourmet sliders.

1 Lb grassfed ground beef
2 TB. balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz. herbed butter- chilled and cut into chunks (you can buy this premade or simply mix a TB of pesto into butter)
1 small onion
8-10 small buns (you can toast or grill these or leave them plain)

Topper options:

Tomato Relish
Blue Cheese Crumbles
Honey Mustard
Green Tomato Pickles
Sauteed mushrooms
Bbq Sauce
Pesto
Avocado

Mix ground beef with balsamic and a few shakes of salt and pepper
Make into small burgers (about 3 TB beef for each
Push a small square of herbed butter into middle of each burger-
Press center down to make a little indentation
Place in fridge for 15 minutes.
While burgers are in fridge, thinly slice onions and saute with a few chunks of herbed butter.
When soft, remove from heat and reserve for topping burger.

Preheat grill
Grill 4-5 minutes per side to desired doneness.

Place on bun, top with yummy onions and your favorite other toppers and enjoy!
