Grilled Beef Thai Salad

Food Network Contestant, Justin Davis, shows us an easy recipe to make for your family using Thousand Hills Cattle Company beef. 

1 lb ground Thousand Hills beef, cooked
4 tbsp lime juice, fresh
5 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp toasted rice powder
1.5 tsp msg
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
¼ yellow onion, sliced thinly
1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
1 tbsp red bell pepper, finely chopped (brunoise if you choose)
1 tbsp green bell pepper, finely chopped (brunoise if you choose)
½ tbsp green onion, sliced, greens only
1 tomato, quartered
1 head iceburg lettuce, quartered
½ cucumber, sliced

Combine lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, rice powder, msg, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Whisk ingredients together. In a separate bowl add your cooked beef, onions, bell peppers, cilantro, and toss together like any other salad. Add as much crushed pepper as suits your taste. Serve with a quarter head of iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and sliced cucumber. Use the lettuce and cucumber to cup the salad and enjoy!
