Tea Parties

There’s the Tupperware parties, the candle parties, and jewelry parties.  But one party that has been around for a very long time and hasn’t gone away – a Tea Party!  Owner of Artful Brew Tea, Kris James, shows us how to throw one.

The first tea is from the Tarajulie Estate in Assam (northern India).  It is a wonderful, basic black tea -- very hearty and malty.  Assam is usually a tea used in English Breakfast blends.

The second tea is a white tea, which is the least processed and has the most antioxidants.  It is a flavored tea called Scarlet Berry.  It is a very fruity blend that has pomegranate, rose petals and red pepper berries.

The third tea is the oolong called Blue Moon.  It looks like little blue/green nuggets, which are rolled in ginseng.

Kris would love to help you throw your own Tea Party.  If you book a party with her by Friday, May 25th at 5 PM, just mention Twin Cities Live and Kris will throw in the cost of groceries!  Click here for information and to contact Kris.
