This year marks the 12th annual Subway Bedrace for Bridging.  On Saturday, March 6th, hundreds of people will slide down Buck Hill on mattresses.  The event raises money to provide furniture and household goods for people who are looking for a fresh start in their lives. 

Twin Cities Live went to Bridging’s warehouse in Bloomington to talk to Fran Heitzman, the non-profit’s founder, about his mission and what the funds raised at the Bedrace will mean to others in need.
