Chocolate Decadence Fondue

Everyone has one of those little electric dip pots that usually come free with a regular-sized Crock Pot.  Here’s the reason not to throw it out!

1.  Dump 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet, dark, milk, or white. Your choice.) in the bottom of that mini slow cooker you never use.  Pour over that 1/2 cup heavy cream and add 1 tsp vanilla.

2.  Plug it in and let it cook while you eat dinner (about 30 to 45 minutes).  Stir until smooth.

3. Enjoy as is or stir in your favorite addition.  Try a spoonful of good jam, a tablespoon of liquer, or big spoonful of peanut butter.

Here’s the fun part:  The dippers!
Roll biscuit scraps in cinnamon sugar and bake
Little cookies
Chunks of brie
Fresh fruit
Pretzel sticks
Marshmallows
Mini cream puffs
Frozen cheesecake bites
Potato chips
Chunks of pound cake
Donut holes

Don’t forget a few crunchy dippers—toasted coconut, holiday sprinkles, cookie crumbs, chopped nuts, etc.
