Since the year 2000, the world has seen a lot of changes.  9/11 and the economy top the list and we’ve seen changes in technology, communication, and more.  We took a look at some of the changes that have occurred throughout the decade – on the lighter side.

The internet has certainly evolved to be a necessity for many.  The look of websites have evolved along with it.  And, networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace are commonplace these days.  Cell phone use have increased almost 200% where nearly every household includes one.

Television programming has seen some changes along the way as well.  One of the first reality shows premiered in 2000 – and now “Survivor” is working on it’s 20th season!  American Idol is another hit that had it’s premier in 2000, becoming one of the top rated series on TV.  And, celebrities have had their time in the spotlight as well going through a number of changes…including spouses!
