Every aspiring fashion designer would love to work with the likes of Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, and Michael Kors.  Shakopee native, Christopher Straub did just that when he participated in the 6th season of Project Runway.  While Christopher placed 5th on the show – he gained a lot of insight and experience by being a part of Lifetime’s hit show and definitely walked away a winner.

Today, Christopher joined TCL to help us to get glam for the holiday season!  Our challenge for Christopher was to find us fun looks for the holidays.  He had no problem with this challenge!  Christopher brought three models to show off

Since Christopher knows how to compete in a challenge, us at TCL wanted to challenge him ourselves – we wanted him to find fun looks for the holidays!  He is showing us three looks that will help you during the holidays:

Glitter, sparkle and shine look is perfect this time of the year!  It is the one time of the year you can really get away with it!  Add sparkling jewelry and a chic clutch to your look and you’re all set!  Add those layers of pearls and rhinestones to instantly transform a look.  And, one piece of advice for the men:  Every guy looks great in a well-tailored suit and by adding flair in the accessories he will be ready for the holidays!  And, guys, be sure to leave the glitter for the girls!

If you want to see Christopher this week you can!  On Wednesday, December 9th from 7:30 to 10 p.m., Christopher will be a special guest at the “Tis the Season to Glitz and Glam 2009” holiday fashion show/cocktail party, at W Minneapolis – The Foshay.  At the show Christopher will be featuring collections from his new collection, which will also be able for purchase during the event’s Trunk Show.
