Boston Terriers

Foster and Molly are members of the largest Boston Terrier Club in the country, the Minnesota Boston Terriers.  The club started over sixty years ago, consisting of breeders and pet owners coming together for the same mission.  Somewhere along the line about 10-15 years ago, some of the members became interested in rescuing Boston Terriers.

Before Foster was rescued he was quite a mess. Blind, epileptic and scheduled to be euthanized, when Karen Johnston and the Boston Terriers club stepped in and got him the help he needed.  They raised money for his surgery to repair his vision and then Karen adopted him and took him into her home.

Molly was even more worse off then Foster. She had been kept in a crate for the first eight years of her life. Molly’s foster mom Annie Bartholomew thinks she was only used for breeding and was never treated well or given the attention she deserved.  Annie was willing to take the time to give her this attention.

The owners claim that given attention and love these dogs come around and are willing to show a different side ot themselves and are willing to give you a second!  If you are interested in being a foster parent to a  Boston Terrier, click here for more information.
