TWIN CITIES LIVE SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY.  A PURCHASE OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility: Only legal residents of the Minnesota and Wisconsin who reside within the KSTP Twin Cities Live viewing area, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry are eligible to participate in the Win Tickets to Twin Cities Live at MOA Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited and subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Sponsor(s) (as defined below), Sponsor(s) parent, subsidiary and affiliate entities and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members (whether or not related) of each such Sponsor, Facebook, Twitter and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. Entrants must fulfill all requirements set forth in the Official Rules and abide by all decisions of the Sponsor(s) and/or Administrator in order to be eligible for a prize.  In order to be eligible to win a prize in this Sweepstakes, you cannot have won and accepted any prize from Twin Cities Live within 30 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this Sweepstakes, or won and accepted any prize or combination of prizes with a total stated value of $1,000.00 or more from Twin Cities Live within 365 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this Sweepstakes.

2. How to Enter:  Limit: One (1) entry per person/email address per method of entry for the entire Sweepstakes Period.  Limit:  One qualifier (1) per person.

Website: Eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes by visiting www.twincitieslive.com (the “Website”) and click on the “Win Tickets to TCL at MOA” icon and follow instructions for the Sweepstakes.  By completing the entry form in accordance with the instructions on the Website, you represent that you have complied with the submission guidelines and content restrictions as specified on the Website.  All entries will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder for the submitted email address.  Submitting mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices is prohibited and will result in disqualification of entrant. From all eligible website entries received pursuant to this method of entry, fifty (50) names will be randomly drawn at the Twin Cities Live Studios, as follows:  Five (5) names will be randomly drawn on each week day from Friday, January 6, 2012 through Thursday, January 19, 2012.  Each of the fifty (50) individuals will become qualifiers and will participate for the grand prize as outlined in Section 4 below.  The qualifiers will be notified by telephone; if the qualifier is not at home, a voice mail message will be left for the qualifier, after being contacted by telephone, all qualifiers will receive a follow-up email.

On-Air Twin Cities Live: Eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes by watching Twin Cities Live weekdays from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) between Friday, January 6, 2012 and Thursday, January 19, 2012.  Each day John or Elizabeth will announce that they will take the 5th caller to call 651-989-5555 to become a qualifier for this Sweepstakes.  Seven (7) qualifiers will be chosen on Friday, January 6, 2012, and two (2) qualifiers will be chosen on each week day thereafter through Thursday, January 19, 2012; these twenty-five (25) individuals will become qualifiers and will participate for the grand prize as outlined in Section 4.  The qualifiers will be notified by telephone; if the qualifier is not at home, a voice mail message will be left for the qualifier, after being contacted by telephone, all qualifiers will receive a follow-up email.

Twin Cities Live Email Club: Eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes by becoming a member of the Twin Cities Live Email Club.  To become a member of the Twin Cities Live Email Club, log on to www.twincitieslive.com and complete the form to become a member.  Every member of the Twin Cities Live Email Club will be automatically entered in this Sweepstakes.  From all eligible Twin Cities Live Email Club members, fifteen (15) names will be randomly drawn at the Twin Cities Live Studios as follows:  Six (6) names will be drawn on Friday, January 6, 2012, and one name will be randomly drawn on each week day thereafter through Thursday, January 19, 2012; these fifteen (15) individuals will become qualifiers and will participate for the grand prize as outlined in Section 4.  The qualifiers will be notified by telephone; if the qualifier is not at home, a voice mail message will be left for the qualifier, after being contacted by telephone, all qualifiers will receive a follow-up email.
 
Twitter Entry:  Eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes by re-tweeting a statement that is sent to them by Twin Cities Live.  From all eligible Twitter statements re-tweeted pursuant to this method of entry, ten (10) names will be randomly drawn at the Twin Cities Live Studios as follows:  One (1) name will be randomly drawn on each week day from Friday, January 6, 2012 through Thursday, January 19, 2012; these ten (10) people will become qualifiers and will participate for the grand prize as outlined in Section 4. The qualifiers will be notified by telephone; if the qualifier is not at home, a voice mail message will be left for the qualifier, after being contacted by telephone, all qualifiers will receive a follow-up email.

Facebook Entry: Eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes by “liking” the Twin Cities Live on Facebook.  If you have not already “liked” Twin Cities Live on Facebook, log on to www.twincitieslive.com, click on the “Events” tab in the upper right corner, and then click on “TCL at MOA, Friday, January 20th”, and click on the link to TCL’s Facebook page within the story and then “like” Twin Cities Live; you will also need to complete the entry form and register your name, email address, and daytime telephone number.  If you already “like” Twin Cities Live on Facebook, log on to www.twincitieslive.com, click on the “Events” tab in the upper right corner, and then click on “TCL at MOA, Friday, January 20th, and click on the link to TCL’s Facebook page within the story; you will then need to complete the entry form and register your name, email address, and daytime telephone number.  Entries will be accepted via this method of entry from Friday, January 6, 2012, through 11:59:59 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012.  (the “Website”) and click on the insert applicable Facebook tab name tab to access the Sweepstakes application within the Website. Then follow the links and instructions to complete the registration form.  By sending a message in accordance with the instructions on the Website, you represent that you have complied with the submission guidelines and content restrictions as specified on the Website.  All entries will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder for the submitted email address.  Submitting mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices is prohibited and will result in disqualification of entrant.  From all eligible entries received pursuant to this method of entry, seven (7) qualifiers will be randomly chosen at the Twin Cities Live Studios on Friday, January 6, 2012, and two (2) qualifiers will be randomly chosen at the Twin Cities Live Studios on each week day thereafter through Thursday, January 19, 2012; these twenty-five (25) individuals will become qualifiers and will participate for the grand prize as outlined in Section 4.  The qualifiers will be notified by telephone; if the qualifier is not at home, a voice mail message will be left for the qualifier, after being contacted by telephone, all qualifiers will receive a follow-up email.

Entry Period: The Sweepstakes begins on Friday, January 6, 2012, at 12:01:01 a.m., Central Standard Time (“CST”) and ends on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 4 p.m. CT (the "Sweepstakes Period").  Entries received after the entry submission deadline or outside the Sweepstakes Period are void.  All entries must be received by Sponsor(s) on or before 11:59:59 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012 as determined by Sponsor(s) clock.  This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter. By entering, you understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor(s) and not Facebook or Twitter.

Odds of Winning:   The winner will be chosen in a random drawing to take place on or about Friday, January 20, 2012 and will be conducted by an independent judge using randomization methods selected by the judge in his/her sole discretion. Odds of winning the grand prize are 1:300.  Limit one (1) qualifier per person.

3. Winner Notification/Requirements: Each potential Prize winner will be notified in person on Friday, January 20, 2012.  To participate in the $5,000 Grand Prize, each qualifier and his/her guest will need to present himself/herself at the Mall of America Rotunda on Friday, January 20, 2012, between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to be eligible for a chance to win the Grand Prize.  Substitutes or stand-ins will not be allowed without Twin Cities Live’s prior approval.  All qualifiers eligible to compete for the Grand Prize must be eligible to win.  When the qualifier(s) arrives at no later than 2:00 p.m., they will be checked in by a representative of Twin Cities Live, and then will need to be in the Twin Cities Live audience between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. that day.  Any qualifier(s) checking in after 2:00 p.m., or who is not seated in the TCL audience by 2:45 p.m., forfeits his or her participation in this contest and therefore his or her chance of winning the Grand Prize.  From all qualifiers in attendance at the live taping of Twin Cities Live on Friday, January 20, 2012, one (1) name will be randomly drawn during the taping of the Twin Cities Live show to be the winner.  MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.  Any potential Prize winner will be required to sign and return to Sponsor(s), within seventy two (72) hours of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, an Affidavit of Eligibility, General Release & Waiver, and Publicity Release in the form or forms provided by Sponsor(s) (where and to the extent legally permissible) in order to claim the Prize.  A Prize must be claimed within seven (7) days of the initial Prize notification to the potential winner, or the Prize will be forfeited.  If a potential Prize winner cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the applicable Affidavit of Eligibility, General Release & Waiver, and Publicity Release within the required time period noted above, the potential Prize winner will be disqualified and forfeits the Prize.  If not disqualified, the potential Prize winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning and awarding of the Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.  Failure to comply with these requirements, return of prize notification or Prize as undeliverable, or disqualification of any potential winner for any reason will result in forfeiture of Prize, and the Sponsor(s) will select an alternate winner.  If, after selection of three (3) consecutive alternate potential winners, no alternate winner qualifies to receive the Prize, then the Prize will remain un-awarded.

4. Prize(s) and Donor(s):  Qualifying Prizes:  There will be 125 qualifiers as determined pursuant to the How to Enter section.  Each qualifier will receive two (2) tickets to the broadcast of Twin Cities Live at Mall of America on Friday, January 20, 2012.

Grand Prize:  One (1) grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize.  Prize is funded by Publishers Clearing House (each, a “Prize”).  The approximate retail value of the Prize is $5,000. Sponsor(s) make(s) no warranties concerning any component of a Prize that is not provided directly by Sponsor(s).  Prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made unless Sponsor(s), in its sole discretion, determines otherwise.  Sponsor(s) reserves the right to substitute a Prize for one of equal or greater value, including cash, in Sponsor(s) sole discretion, if a Prize should become unavailable for any reason.  Winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes, and for any and all other costs, assessments, expenses, and fees associated with Prize award, receipt and use.  The winners will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the value of the prize.  

5. Release/Publicity Consent:  As a condition to receipt of a Prize, Prize winner agrees to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, General Release & Waiver releasing Sponsor(s) and its parent, affiliate, subsidiary entities, its merchants, and their respective agents, employees, suppliers, and advertising/promotional and judging agencies (the “Sponsor Group”), Facebook and Twitter, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, from any and all liability whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and/or property which may be sustained in connection with the Sweepstakes or the Prize.  Except where prohibited by law, winner consents and agrees to the use of his/her name, city and state/country, photographs, likeness, statements, video, and voices for broadcast, marketing and promotional purposes in any media (including, without limitation, online) by Sponsor(s) and its promotional agencies, Sweepstakes partners, designees, successors and assigns, before, during and after the Sweepstakes, without compensation or right of review, attribution, or notice, in perpetuity. 

6. Agreement to Official Rules: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor(s) and/or Administrator (including but not limited to decisions regarding eligibility of entries, the selection of entrants and winners, and the awarding of the prize), which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor(s) reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if, in Sponsor(s) opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of fraud, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical difficulties or failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor(s) reasonable control that may affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor(s) failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that term or any other term in these Official Rules.  The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision were eliminated from the rules.

7. General Conditions: Sponsor(s) reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failure, computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or any other factor beyond Sponsor(s) control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor(s) in its sole discretion.  In the event there is more than one Sponsor and the Sponsors) are in disagreement over a modification, suspension, or termination of the Sweepstakes, then MOAC Mall Holdings LLC have the final decision with respect to any modification, suspension, or termination of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor(s), in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor(s) reserves the right to prosecute and/or seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  Sponsor(s) failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.  Sponsor(s) is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, or lost entries, or Prize notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet service providers, websites, or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, difficulties, or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or incomplete capture of information, or the failure to capture any information.  No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated or otherwise multiple entries will be accepted.  If any dispute regarding identity of any winner cannot be resolved to Sponsor(s) satisfaction, that entrant/potential winner will be disqualified.

8.  Governing Law: The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to any choice of law provisions.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor(s) in connection with the Sweepstakes and/or any Prize, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Minnesota without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Minnesota or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Minnesota.

9. Entrant's Personal Information: All personal information collected from entrant is subject to the Sponsor(s) Privacy Policy (as set forth on the website) except to the extent waived by a winner through agreement to a Publicity Release.

10. Sponsor(s) and Administrator: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by KSTP-TV, LLC, 3415 University Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55414, MOAC Mall Holdings LLC, doing business as Mall of America, 60 East Broadway, Bloomington, MN 55425 (“Sponsor(s)”). The Sweepstakes is administered by KSTP-TV, LLC, (“Administrator”), 3415 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55114.    

11. Winners List/Official Rules:  For a complete list of winners and/or copies of the Official Sweepstakes Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: KSTP-TV Attn: Win Tickets To Twin Cities Live at MOA Sweepstakes, 3415 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55114.  All such requests must be received within six (6) weeks after the end of the Sweepstakes. These Official Rules will be posted on the Website during the Sweepstakes Period.
