When photographing children, remember:

1) It’s important to get down to their level – kneel or lay down – show the world from their perspective.
2) Focus on their eyes – make a personal connection, get close and pay attention to the details.
3) Interact with them.  Be engaging and limit posing.  Capture the action and remember – timing is everything.
4) Pay attention to your shutter speed.  This is your priority to get fast moving objects.
5) And, lastly, don’t forget to include yourself!
