Glen and Alisha Perkins: Life After Baseball   ...More

Twin Cities Live is broadcasting live at the Twins Home Opener. Elizabeth is on vacation but she couldn’t pass up the chance to visit newly retired Twins pitcher Glen Perkins to find out about his life after baseball. Glen and his wife Alisha recently purchased a 100-acre farm where they are raising their daughters and all sorts of animals. Elizabeth finds out that it’s surprising Glen even had time to play baseball in the first place because these days, his woodshop is his favorite place to be.

The Minnesota Twins are ready for a new season of baseball. That includes all sorts of new things. The former Metropolitan Club area is now called Bat and Barrel. It’s a new spot for eating and grabbing a drink. Unlike the former club, this area is now open to anyone with a ticket to the game.

There are a few new faces to the Minnesota Twin’s Roster this year. That includes Relief Pitcher, Zach Duke.  The Texas native signed a deal with the Twins in December and as we all know, behind every good man is a great woman. Zach’s wife, Kristin, stopped by the Plaza to chat about being a Twin’s wife and her new life here in Minnesota.
