Luxury Cars in Saint Paul

Don’t be surprised if you’re driving around Saint Paul and you spot some fancy cars. More than $5 million worth of luxury cars are on display as part of a premiere car rally. The cars are open to the public on Wednesday, September 6th. 2017 from 5-8 p.m. in Rice Park. Be sure to bring your camera for plenty of pictures. In fact, some of the cars’ owners will even let you get in the cars. 
 
The event is called the Cannonball Run which is named after Erwin “Cannonball” Baker. He had a famous ride from New York to Los Angeles back in the 1930’s. This tour starts in Michigan and will stop in several Midwestern towns along the way, including the anticipated stop here in Saint Paul. The crew eventually makes their way to a final party in Mexico. 
 
The entry fee for the event is $25,000. You’ll see all sorts of brands including Rolls Royce, Bentley and Ferrari. In addition to the luxury cars, celebrities Ice T and his wife Coco will make an appearance. Several food trucks will also be on site.
