Curt Campbell, Founder and CEO of The Oilerie started the company after seeing how it sold in Europe. That, and his love for olive oil, gave him the idea to do the same here in the United States. He discovered the olive oil bar concept on a trip to Poland in 2003 and The Oilerie began from that.
