John and Elizabeth welcome our special audience with a little TV talk, some cookies, and more!
Since the 1870’s, Red Wing, Minnesota has been the home of
Red Wing Stoneware. The pottery that comes out of there today isn’t much different than it was when the company first started. Emily quickly found out that this is exactly the reason the products are unique and still so appealing.
While visiting the set of The Chew in New York City, Elizabeth probably got one of the best seats in the house – at the Tasting Table. After the show wrapped, she was let loose to do a little snooping! She headed straight to the kitchen!
By now, most of us are aware that the suns rays can cause a lot of damage – sometimes even some deadly results. Just one sunburn increases your risk of developing skin cancer.
Elizabeth presented an ingredient from Minnesota to the hosts of The Chew to see what kind of recipe they would come up with. Michael Symon chose the Pearson’s Salted Nut Roll and quickly figured out that it would belong in a bread pudding. Laurie Crowell from Golden Fig puts his inspiration to work! Related Link:
