Casey Carlson   ...More All you American Idol fans out there will probably remember Casey Carlson from last season’s top 36.  We were all hoping for Minnesota to be represented and Casey was looking to be that person early on.    While her American Idol dreams may not have materialized, that isn’t stopping Casey from quickly becoming a star.

Africa Exhibit   ...More John took an African adventure – without leaving Minnesota!  Normally roaming the African savanna, animals from giraffes to wildebeests are now calling Minnesota their home.  John got an up close and personal tour of the Africa Exhibit at the Minnesota Zoo

Summer Germs   ...More With summer right around the corner, we all know that we will be spending a lot more time outdoors.  You and your kids will be at the lake, by the pool, at the ball games or just in your backyard.  And, all of these places have some things in common…bacteria, germs, and bugs!

The Garden of Last Days   ...More Before becoming an author, Andre Dubus worked as a bounty hunter, a private investigator, a carpenter, a bartender, and an actor.  He made a name for himself with his book, The House of Sand and Fog, which became a number one bestseller, part of Oprah’s book club, and an academy award nominated film.  His latest book, The Garden of Last Days brings together four characters at a Florida strip club just days before the country changed forever on 9/11/01.
